My friend Jessica gave me this recipe, we tried it out, and it was great!

1 c. shortening

1 c. sugar

1 c. canned pumpkin

1 egg

Cream above ingredients together.

Add each item below one at a time and mix well.

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 bag milk chocolate chips

Mix well, roll into balls, place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Yields 3 dozen.

Yum! I made these for church one morning. They were yummy. I also added pumpkin pie spice to mine and there were so good!
